Dr. Chester has been in private practice at Foxhall Internists for more than 30 years. He has been named as one of the best doctors in America by numerous publications.
He graduated cum laude from Georgetown University, completed his medical training at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and returned to Georgetown for internship, residency, and a kidney fellowship. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and was re-certified in 1987 and 1998.
Dr. Chester is on the clinical staff of Sibley Memorial Hospital, and is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University Medical Center.; He is also a board member of the Georgetown Hypertension, Kidney and Vascular Center. A well-known expert on the relationship between sinus disease and chronic fatigue, Dr. Chester has presented more than 40 research studies on that and other subjects. In addition, he has authored approximately 100 publications on chronic sinusitis, sinus surgery, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, kidney disease, and hypertension.
Dr. Chester and his wife live in Washington. When he is not practicing medicine, he is often found visiting with his two children and their young families
